Todays’ High Five:
- The Lions benched starting cornerback Brian Kelly for the entire Minnesota game. Nobody’s saying why. [Update: the Lions cut Kelly today.]
- MSU’s New Year’s Day bowl game is good for football recruiting.
- So was U-M’s win over Duke.
- Bless You Boys looks at Brandon Inge, who will combine with newly acquired Gerald Laird and Adam Everett to form a non-threatening third of the Tigers’ lineup.
- Antonio McDyess is officially back.
Today’s schedule:
- NBA: Detroit at Washington, 7pm.
