High Five: Delvon Roes’ knees are ready for prime time

Today’s High Five:
- With MSU forward Delvon Roe limited and Goran Suton hurt, State’s frontcourt has been thin. But help is on the way: Roe is almost ready to shed his knee brace and start playing more minutes.
- On the gridiron, MSU RB Javon Ringer is an All-American. As reporters ask Ringer about his Capitol One Bowl matchup with Georgia RB Knowshon Moreno, Ringer is still deflecting attention to the offensive line.
- The Mitten previously remarked that the Lions were playing a lot of quarterbacks this season without ever benching anyone, instead using injuries to explain the changes. Daunte Culpepper is the latest victim, giving way to Dan Orlovsky this Sunday, and Tom Kowalski wonders if the Lions’ accountants will let Culpepper see the field again this season.
- Nick Cotsonika has similar concerns about Drew Stanton, but this time at least it’s Stanton’s on-field play that’s the issue, not his contract.
- The Tigers’ blogosphere is not happy with the Edwin Jackson-for-Matt Joyce trade. Neither is Dave Cameron at FanGraphs.
