High Five: ‘Sheed not going anywhere

Today’s High Five:

  • Don’t count on a Rasheed Wallace trade this winter. ‘Sheed and his expiring contract are more valuable than you could possibly imagine.
  • A huge blogging coup for Lee from Tiger Tales: An interview with Curtis Granderson!
  • The Mitten is preparing its mammoth Capitol One Bowl preview, but while you wait, check out KJ’s take on the game at Spartans Weblog.
  • Goran Suton’s knee isn’t shot after all! After arthoscopic surgery, and after a BTN analyst (Jim Jackson?) said during a recent MSU telecast that Goran was out for the season (he corrected himself a bit later in the same broadcast, but not until untold numbers of Spartan fans had fainted), Suton is back at practice and almost ready for game action.
  • The L.A. Times is piling on the Lions. The oil change deal described is a stroke of self-deprecating (or Lions-deprecating) marketing genius.

Today’s schedule:

  • Blank slate
