Today’s High Five:

The Lions hired Tennessee defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz to be their next head coach.
Tom Kowalski, who might be the best beat reporter in the history of sports, has been all over the story, even predicting early in the day that the Lions’ silence meant the team was close to an announcement. He’s got good news for the Mitten’s anti-QB crusade.
ESPN’s Kevin Seifert approves of the match, but doesn’t sound like he’s ready to print Super Bowl tickets.
